Amy Baumgartner and Justin Gurvitz
August 10, 2002
Sonoma, CA
On a warm summer evening in a picturesque courtyard, Amy and Justin, who met as students at the University of Colorado, were married. Their short, but personal, ceremony was held in front of 125 guests at a Tuscan-style winery perched atop a hill in the heart of Sonoma's wine country, a site the couple fell in love with on their first visit a few years before.
After the ceremony, guests were led through the candle-lit wine cellar up to spacious lawns overlooking grapevines and Viansa's protected wetlands. There they enjoyed fine wine and hors d'oeuvres as a harpist filled the air with beautiful music. Once inside the tented pavilion, the revelry continued with a delicious dinner, touching toasts, dancing, and a mouth-watering cake (so good the couple couldn't resist eating the top tier the next day). The bride and groom say their wedding day exceeded all their expectations and they have just one regret--it went by too fast!
