Couples are often faced with the option of having either a formal wedding or an outdoor wedding, but not both, because most venues are fit for one but not the other. Angie Sadeghi and David Mir, however, demonstrated that it is indeed possible for these sometimes opposing themes to come together beautifully.
The couple wed at the stunning St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and Spa, a Tuscan-style hotel perched atop a bluff boasting spectacular views. The ceremony took place on the resort's Grand Lawn overlooking an impressive fountain, crystal-blue swimming pools, and the Pacific Ocean. After the ceremony, guests moved to Club 19, the resort's golf clubhouse, where an elegant dinner was served on the outdoor patio. In executing a formal, cultural wedding in an outdoor beachside setting, Angie and David proved you can have your cake, and eat it too.
