If not for the help of an online dating service, Jackie and Brian may not have found each other. After getting to know each other on e-mail, a few phone conversations, they finally decided to meet; and although Jackie was full of nerves, their first date went well enough to inspire a second! Two years later, Brian proposed on the beach against a beautiful sunset.
The ceremony took place on a grassy cliff overlooking the ocean, followed by an elegant, outdoor reception at a private home. The couple's love for surfing and the beach was reflected throughout their wedding, including a sand ceremony to represent their commitment to each other, and reception centerpieces that were sand-filled glass jars featuring starfish, a cymbidium orchid, and an orange candle. All in all, the day was a perfect reflection of the couple's style and taste -- a match made online that bloomed at the beach.
