It was fate that Tess and Chris kept meeting each other at charity events -- but although Chris was taken aback by Tess' beauty, he didn't have the courage to ask her out until they met again at the Miss Los Angeles County Pageant where he was a judge, and Tess was passing on her crown. After an "amazing" first date that lasted eight hours, the two were together ever since.
Their wedding was held in a private rose garden at the Ritz-Carlton, lush with gorgeous plants, flowers, and a grand staircase with a waterfall backdrop. The style of the decor was very floral, with an abundance of roses, hydrangeas, and dahlias in a warm color palette. During the ceremony, Tess and Chris recited prose they had written together. The wedding of their dreams was a reflection of who they are, and their genuine love for one another.
