Aric and Booyeon Lee Allen

Anaheim Hills, CA
Aric and Booyeon first met through church while volunteering for a local homeless shelter, but the sparks began to fly when they found themselves seated together at a wedding reception. Unfortunately, the relationship turned long distance after three weeks of dating, but two years later they both made their way to settle in Southern California. The proposal took place on a quiet balcony during a romantic dinner overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Aric handed Booyeon a letter he had written that ended with the unfinished question, "Will you be my..." When Booyeon looked up, Aric was holding a sparkling engagement ring, and finished the question by asking her to be his wife.
The outdoor ceremony took place in a lakeside chapel overlooking Anaheim Hills. The flowers of choice for both decor and bouquets were pink and white roses accented with lilies and hydrangeas. During the ceremony, members of the wedding party read excerpts of the love letters Aric and Booyeon wrote to each other during their time apart. The ceremony was followed by an outdoor reception at the historic French Inn, with tables sporting glass cylinders filled with coffee beans, pink rose petals, and votive candles. The couple's wedding day was romantic and meaningful right up to their first dance under a moonlit sky, and friends and family were thrilled to have witnessed their special day.
