Diana and Michael never anticipated meeting their perfect match at a crowded Christmas party. But once they locked eyes through the throngs of guests, they knew they were meant to be. They didn't part after that day and nine months later, Michael proposed to Diana on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial where they shared a first date.
The couple knew that they wanted to incorporate both of their religions and began planning their special day. Keeping in tradition with Diana's Romanian culture, they held the ceremony on a Sunday, made a "flower exit," and happily danced traditional Romanian dances.
They chose to host their reception at the historic Chevy Chase Club and along with their family and friends had an amazing evening as husband and wife.
