With the matchmaking help of her mother, Alexis and Chris formed the perfect love connection. After a year and half courtship, Chris planned a romantic dinner proposal which included a limo ride, champagne, and flowers. On the way to dinner the couple got stuck in rush hour traffic. Chris could not bear to wait a second longer, so they pulled off to the side of the road and he proposed to her right then and there. Alexis said "I do" to a gorgeous 3 ct. solitaire diamond and the wedding planning began.
A sacred ceremony took place in an elegant ballroom at Hotel Valencia on Santana Row followed by a cocktail hour and reception. The all-white themed decor included loads of white candles, linens, and rose petals, along with water-filled glass cylinders of white orchids and candles. A few splashes of gunmetal grays and deep reds were also incorporated to accent certain areas such as the foyer and the bar. The couple chose to dance their first dance to the song "Little Wonderers" by Rob Thomas, and Alexis surprised her new husband with a pool table as a wedding gift.
