Annie Tran and Sean Kao met outside a professor's office during their junior year at Harvey Mudd College, a small science and engineering school in Claremont California. They instantly became friends and after six years of dating, Sean proposed to her on his birthday.
Their wedding theme was "love makes the world go round" -- they incorporated circles into all of their wedding-related items, including round mailing labels, lettering in little bubbles on the invitation, and round escort cards. They also chose an autumn color theme with espresso brown, red, and green to compliment the beauty of their intimate park venue. (They wed at, El Dorado Park in Long Beach).
The reception was held at the Grand Garden Restaurant in Westminster, CA, where they continued their "round" theme with tables, nametags, and a five tier round cake. Guests dines on a lavish 10-course seafood meal.
