Cristina Rasco and Charles Davis
May 31, 2008
Half Moon Bay, CA
During a romantic stay at a castle in Scotland, Charles took the opportunity to ask Cristy, the love of his life, to marry him. Cristy happily accepted, and lucky for her she already knew where she wanted her wedding to take place -- the gorgeous oceanfront property in Half Moon Bay. This was the ideal spot for a destination wedding weekend for their friends and family. The late afternoon ceremony took place outdoors in front of a gazebo, decorated by Edward B Designs, with white roses, orchids, and hydrangeas. The groom shed a tear at the sight of his beautiful bride in her cathedral-length veil and Oscar De La Renta gown.
The reception followed in the ballroom where a vision of blue hues filled the room, and tall white floral centerpieces decorated each table. The wedding cake was decorated with confectionary flowers and shells inspired by the details of Cristy's wedding gown. Guests were treated to a live Cuban band as well as an 80's cover band. They enjoyed cognacs and cheeses by the fireplace in the patio cigar lounge, and Cuban sandwiches were served at midnight. The couple now live happily ever after.
