Argentina, with its special blend of classical old world elegance and South America sensuality, is the native country of Norma LeNain. Her designs echo this drama and romance. She is known for her seamless body-wrapping fit, exquisite hand beading, and unusual imported laces. In many instances, Norma creates her own "laces" by the way she cuts and sews them before beading the lace pattern.

Norma LeNain began her career in fashion 42 years ago studying design and pattern-making in Italy. By the time she was 23, Norma was one of the most celebrated designers of bridal and eveningwear in Argentina. She acquired international recognition for her designs in theater and motion pictures.

In 1978, she moved to Los Angeles, and spent some time as a consultant in an exclusive salon in Beverly Hills familiarizing herself with the American fashion scene, after which she opened a custom design studio.

Her designs have been featured in upscale bridal stores throughout the United States. Since then she has developed a following of fashionable women across the country that look for the combination of elegance and fit which can only be found in a Norma LeNain creation. Norma proudly confesses that famous stars such as Hepburn, Bacall and Dietrich, played an important part in inspiring her early designs and her ever present fascination with glamour and elegance.

Each individual original design has an added personal touch that makes Norma LeNain one of the most renowned California designers. A genuine romantic, LeNain has created her own "dream come true" with her sought-after collection of wedding gowns.
