The elegant, sophisticated and trend setting style of designer Reem Acra has made her one of the
few "name designers" in the luxury bridal market. From her delicate beadwork of tiny Swarovski crystals and seed pearls
to the intricate gold bouillon needle work and shadow embroidery sewn under fabric, Reem Acra designs embody classic,
traditional chic as well as the au courant.
Reem studied design in both Paris and New York at the Esmod School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology,
respectively. After several years of practical experience, she set up her own fashion house,
of which she is designer and president. In less than six years, her Chelsea-based atelier has gained international
recognition as one of the preeminent bridal design houses in the world. Reem sells to more than 100 of the most exclusive
retailers in the United States and Europe, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus,
and Bergdorf Goodman.
