For the last two years, Maggie Norris has directed design for the couturier. Ms. Norris brings an elegant sensibility and historic understanding to the house. She directed design for Ralph Lauren's Womenswear for fifteen years and today, in addition to her contribution to Ulla-Maija, she designs her signature collection, Maggie Norris Couture.
Ms. Norris is among the few designers in the world both experienced in, and still active at, the true couture level of design. She initiates each collection with a specific design spirit and then directs her design team through all aspects of research and design development. She maintains her sensitivity to her clients while working with some of the world's most noted women.
