Viewers Choose Most Romantic Couple in "Happily Ever After: Love In Times Square" Celebration
Los Angeles, California, May 18, 2001 -- After sifting through thousands of romantic tales from across the country, starting this Monday, May 21, ABC News "Good Morning America," ABCNEWS.com and WeddingChannel.com will unveil the five most amazing love stories in their series, "Happily Ever After: Love in Times Square." From the marine drill instructors who fell in love in boot camp to the nurse who made her patient's heart monitor go wild, each day next week, viewers will meet a different couple who will tell their uniquely personal love story on "Good Morning America."
On the following Monday, May 28, viewers can visit ABCNEWS.COM and vote for their favorite couple's love story. The chosen couple will then receive an all-expense paid wedding in Times Square to be announced on the air June 1.
Once the couple is selected, "Good Morning America" and the official wedding planning experts at WeddingChannel.com will assist the lucky couple with every detail from bridal gown selection to ring purchasing during the weeks leading up to the big day. On June 22, the pair will be treated to the perfect Times Square wedding, followed by a luxury honeymoon.

Monday - Jeanne Wyer and James Porter from Chicago (Hoffman Estates, Illinois)
Tuesday - Tasha McKenney and Zay Collier from the San Francisco Bay area (Concord, California)
Wednesday - Amy Bennett and Matthew Mueller from Dallas and Long Island, NY
Thursday - Phil Roy and Abby McClure from Philadelphia (West Chester, Pennsylvania)
Friday - Lorenzo Abundiz and Peggy Beeuwsaert from Los Angeles (Rancho Cucamonga, California)
