The "Romancing Jamaica" Sweepstakes Official Rules

Eligibility: The Romancing Jamaica Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry and who have internet access as of April 15, 2002. Employees of WeddingChannel.com, The Conde Nast Publications, Inc. and SuperClubs, each of their respective related companies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, OUTSIDE THE U.S. AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Sponsors: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by WeddingChannel.com, 888 South Figueroa Street, Suite 700, Los Angeles, CA 90017, The Conde Nast Publications Inc., 4 Times Square, New York, NY 10036 and SuperClubs, P.O. Box 222800, Hollywood, FL 33022 ("Sponsors").

Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.

Timing: The Sweepstakes begins at 4:00:01 p.m. Pacific Time ("PST") on April 16, 2002, ends at 11:59:59 a.m. PST on July 12, 2002 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Entry: Visit the WeddingChannel.com website and complete an official online entry form. Submission of a completed entry form will result in one (1) entry. All online entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

For all Entries: Limit one (1) entry per person. Sponsors are not responsible for late or incomplete, entries, all of which will be disqualified. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsors. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all entries by that entrant. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned!

Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize and Ten (10) second prizes will be awarded.

Grand Prize: A 7-day/6-night stay for two in all-suite accommodations at the SuperClubs Grand Lido Sans Souci Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This Super-Inclusive vacation includes: round-trip transfers from Sangster International Airport to the resort, plus all meals, all beverages, all available water sport activities, entertainment, hotel taxes and gratuities. Airfare is not included in package. The vacation must be completed by September 3, 2003. Package is subject to space availability and selected blackout dates apply. All other expenses and costs not expressly listed above including but not limited to airfare, telephone calls, tours, inter-island transportation, island departure taxes (approximately $27.00 per person), and any other taxes are the winner's responsibility. The trip may not be combined with any other offers or discounts, or redeemed for cash. Any passport or other picture identification requirements associated with travel are the winner's and/or guest's responsibilities. Guest must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Grand Prize Approximate Retail Value: $5,592, depending on exact itinerary.

Second Prize: Ten (10) winners will each receive two (2) gift certificates for two romantic "dinners for two" to be redeemed at a restaurant of the winner's choice. Approximate Retail Value of each Second Prize: $400 (maximum). Approximate Total Retail Value of all prizes: $9,592.

For all Prizes: Prizes are nontransferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsors, who reserve the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value in the event that a prize is unavailable. Winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable fees and taxes associated with prize receipt and use. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Notification of Potential Winners: Potential winners will be determined on or about July 29, 2002 , by a random drawing from among all entries received. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsors, whose decisions as to all matters related to the administration of the Sweepstakes and selection of the potential winner are final. The entrant selected must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

The potential winners will be notified by either e-mail, telephone, or registered mail within five (5) days of the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within ten (10) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, an alternate potential winner will be selected in his or her place at random from all eligible entries received. Except where prohibited, potential winner must execute and return to Sponsors an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability and publicity within fourteen (14) days of notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected. By entering into the Sweepstakes, you give your permission to be contacted by Sponsor or Prize Provider by email. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner's consent to Sponsors' use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.

Use of Data: Sponsors will collect personal data from entrants when they enter the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to all personal information uses and disclaimers as explained in Sponsors' privacy policies. General Conditions: Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if any fraud, virus or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. In such event, Sponsors reserve the right to award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors' failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. Release: By receipt of a prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsors and their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize.

Limitations of Liability: Sponsors are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. Sponsors do not assume responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes.

Disputes: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules of provisions (whether of the State of California, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.

Sweepstakes Results and Official Rules: Sweepstakes results and a copy of these Official Rules may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Romancing Jamaica Sweepstakes, c/o WeddingChannel.com, 888 South Figueroa Street, Suite 700, Los Angeles, CA 90017. Requests for results must be received by July 12, 2002. Vermont residents may omit return postage.
