No Purchase Required to Enter or Win
  1. ELIGIBILITY: The Ultimate Tahiti Honeymoon Cruise Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to individuals who: (a) are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia; (b) are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry; and (c) who are engaged at time of entry. Employees of WeddingChannel.com, Inc., Tahiti Legends and related companies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.

  2. SPONSOR: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by WeddingChannel.com, 888 South Figueroa Street, Suite 700, Los Angeles, CA 90017 and Tahiti Legends, 19891 Beach Blvd., Suite #107, Huntington Beach, CA 92648 ("Sponsors").

  3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein in a timely manner.

  4. ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on March 19, 2004 at 12:00:01 p.m. Pacific Time ("PT") on and ends on June 4, 2004 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the "Entry Period"). Entries received prior to or after the Entry Period will be disqualified.

  5. ENTRY: To enter the Sweepstakes, visit www.WeddingChannel.com, click on an advertisement for the Sweepstakes, and fill out an online entry form. Once you submit the entry form, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit of one (1) entry per person. Subsequent entries will be void. Any entries attempted through the use of agencies or robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed, or similar methods will be void.

  6. DRAWING: On or about June 15, 2004, Sponsors will select the name of one (1) potential winner in a random drawing of all entries received. Sponsors' decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner within ten (10) days of the drawing. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within ten (10) days after the first attempt to contact him/her, Sponsor will select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from all entries received.

  7. REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNER: Except where prohibited, potential winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (the "Affidavit/Release") within fourteen (14) days of being notified. If a potential winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release within the required time period, an alternate entrant may be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all entries received.

  8. PRIZE: One (1) winner and a guest will receive roundtrip economy airfare from Los Angeles to Tahiti on Air Tahiti Nui, one (1) night at the Tahiti InterContinental Beachcomber Hotel with a lagoon view room, and six (6) nights aboard Bora Bora Cruises, Tu Moana luxury yacht cruise in a deluxe stateroom. Cruise includes all meals on the cruise, including a bottle of champagne daily, an exclusive gift from Bora Bora Cruises, guaranteed specific cabin at time of reservations, and a marriage blessing by the cruise yacht captain. Also included, a honeymoon gift on Tahiti, room tax and VAT, welcome flower lei and traditional farewell shell lei, all transfers and baggage handling. Taxes including, U.S. departure tax/fees of $69 USD per person and cruise port tax of $130 USD per person as well as local city tax of 150 cfp per person per night at the hotel (approx. $1.50 USD) are the responsibility of the prize winner. All expenses and costs not expressly listed above including, but not limited to, transportation to Los Angeles, meals, gratuities, hotel/cruise service fees, telephone calls, and other incidentals, are solely the winner's responsibility. Trip must be completed by May 31, 2005 and is subject to availability and blackout dates. Blackout dates are June-October and December 13-31st. Prize is nontransferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsors, who reserve the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion.

  9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsors may, in their sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsors' failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.

  10. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsors, their officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney's fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

  11. PRIVACY: All information submitted by entrants as part of this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with Sponsors' Privacy Policies, which are accessible from www.WeddingChannel.com and www.TahitiLegends.com.

  12. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.

  13. SWEEPSTAKES RESULTS AND OFFICIAL RULES: You can obtain Sweepstakes results and a copy of these Official Rules by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to The Ultimate Tahiti Honeymoon Cruise Sweepstakes, c/o WeddingChannel.com, 888 South Figueroa St., Suite 700, Los Angeles, CA 90017. All requests must be received by July 30, 2004. Vermont residents may omit return postage for Official Rules requests.
