HOW THEY MET: Jeff and Christie met on a blind date! They were set up by Christie's cousin, Breck, and one of Jeff's students, Kylie (both are mascots at John Marshall High School. They met at a high school football game on Friday, November 1,2002. After the game, they went out for a late dinner at Bennigans. They've been together ever since. . .
THE ENGAGEMENT
Their engagement was announced on December 15, 2002.
HOW THEY GOT ENGAGED: It was a lazy Sunday afternoon and Jeff had cooked a wonderful shrimp and pasta lunch for Christie. They were waiting for it to get dark so they could go see Christmas lights and decorations. Jeff was impatient and 'popped' the big question before they left to see the lights. Christie immediately said 'yes'!! Jeff then went to get the ring. On bended knee, Jeff then gave Christie the most beautiful diamond and platinum engagement ring. They are anxiously awaiting their wedding day.
Their wedding date is set for June 13, 2003.
Their wedding will take place at Silverhorn Golf Club of Texas in San Antonio, TX.
Their reception will be held at Silverhorn Golf Club of Texas.
