HOW THEY MET: We met on Thursday, February 3, 2000 at City Steam Brewery. It was a Happy Hour with some friends from work, celebrating my 23rd Birthday. Ryan and I had seen each other earlier in the day at a meeting that we had both attended in Boardroom S105A. (He was the one asking all of those questions.) Brian Weaver officially introduced us and the rest is history . . .
THE ENGAGEMENT
Their engagement was announced on November 3, 2000.
HOW THEY GOT ENGAGED: It was Friday, November 3, 2000, exactly nine months since the day we met. It was very cold that day, but that didn't stop us from doing one of our favorite things to do: Have a picnic on the beach while watching the sunset. We shared a bottle of Merlot with some cheese and crackers over near Fresh Water Rock at East Beach in Charlestown, Rhode Island. While trying to keep warm, Ryan took me over to a rock and held me close. Then, to my surprise, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him . . . I immediately said YES, and shed a few tears of happiness!!!
Their wedding date is set for November 23, 2001.
Their wedding will take place at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church in Hartford, CT.
Their reception will be held at The Goodwin Hotel.
